Birthday Treats

Here are a few of the lovely things I got for my birthday. Flavoured vodka, a pot of dreams, Mulberry bag charm / keyring, Tatty Devine name necklace, French connection necklace and a beaded necklace. The bag charm from Mulberry is just beautiful. Can't decide if to put it on my keys or on my Mulberry bag ??? And another gorgeous Tatty Devine name necklace to add to my collection :)

London Haul

The trip to London wasn't a specific shopping trip but we did pop in quite a few shops! Got to go to Topshop and it was huge, loved Selfridges, Liberty, Harrods and made my first visit to Forever 21.

January 2012: Turning 30 in London

This month I turned the ripe old age of 30! My friend Nic bought me this giant badge:

For the main celebration I went with a couple of friends to London. We had a brilliant time, did some lovely things, visited lots of great places and also bought a few bits and pieces ;)

We went to see Wicked and it was bloody brilliant and then spent the evening in Covent Garden which was soooo lovely

We all wanted to visit Harrods so we went along nice and early on Saturday morning and bought a few things

The best bit was the Harry Potter Shop which had lot's of displays including some of the actual costumes from the films

And finally on the Sunday morning before coming home we visited St. Pauls and then the Tate Modern (my camera ran out of storage there boooo!).

Can't wait to go again

My friend Joanne has started taking a photo of one thing that sums up her day each day and will be doing so for the whole of 2012. I thought this was a great idea but wanted to also incorporate into this all the things I love. I thought a blog would be the best way to document my own 2012. (I know I am a month late in getting started but I will document some of January soon as it was a great month).

So then, today's photo is......

Today is a bit of a stressful day! I am currently doing a PhD and I have a supervision meeting with my supervisor on Thursday so I am trying to do lots of writing and get my head round some very complex ideas argh!

The plan is to get a new camera as these photos aren't great :(
